Get to know your personal trainer…
- How would you describe yourself?
I am an active, sporty, positive person who loves to enjoy life.
- What is the thing you most enjoy about personal training?
This is the best job in the world and there are so many things I enjoy but if you push me to name just one it would be giving people the knowledge and skills so that they can change their own lives.
- What would you like to achieve with your life?
I would like to learn everything there is to know about health, fitness and the body so that I can help everyone no matter what health issues they might have.
- What is your worst habit?
There is so much in life that I want to do and so much I want to achieve that sometimes I try to do too many things at the same time. I occasionally need to slow down and enjoy the moment before it disappears.
- What is your favourite film and/or television programme?
My favourite film is Gladiator, and on television I like to watch the ultimate fighting championship, prison break and deal or no deal.
- What do you like to do to relax?
Nothing is nicer than lying in a park on a sunny day reading a good book.
- What is your favourite food?
My Spanish side shines through with my food choices as I cannot resist a good paella!
- What has been the most useful piece of advice anyone has given you?
A friend of mine once told me "do not dream your life, live your dreams". I think that is such a fantastic motto on how to lead life!
- What brings you happiness in your life?
Seeing myself improve and a lovely sunny day.
- What has been your best result with a client?
One of my male clients' goal was to look his best for his wedding day, and with a lot of dedication and hard work he managed to lose 7kg in 10 weeks, as well as adding 200 grams of muscle. He was over the moon – as was his now wife!
- What has been the biggest achievement in your life?
Leaving my family and home in Spain to come to England and dedicate my life to what I love to do. I am now living that dream, sometimes I still have to pinch myself to believe it.
- What is your favourite place to go on holiday?
I'm not fussy as long as it has lots of sun and a good beach.
- What are the top ten songs on your i-pod?
I'm afraid I don't actually have an i-pod at the moment but I like really like listening to Nas, Notorious Big and Erykah Badu.
- What is your favourite sport to watch and who do you support?
Having competed as an amateur boxer I love any chance to watch professional boxers fight. I think Ricky Hatton is an amazing athlete. I'm also a Barcelona F.C supporter.
