Get to know your personal trainer…

  • How did you get started in the business of personal training and well-being?
  • I decided to start a career in the fitness industry when I left high school. I have always been fascinated in the relationship between nutrition, exercise and optimal health and feel so lucky that I am now in a job that I am passionate about.

  • What is your favourite time of the day?
  • 7am, after my morning yoga practice. I just love the feeling of lightness and calm that I get afterwards … and it's breakfast time too!

  • What makes time fly for you?
  • A day full of clients always makes the day disappear far too quickly.

  • How would you describe yourself?
  • Energetic, friendly and very happy.

  • What is your favourite music?
  • That's a really tough question, as I love any kind of music. My favourites include RnB, 80s, old skool garage and motown.

  • Where did you last go on holiday and where would you like to go next?
  • Following a 3 week yoga teacher training course in the beautiful Acebo, Spain I went to meet a girlfriend in Madrid for a well deserved holiday. I have a few days booked in Paris with my boyfriend next Month, I haven’t been before and I just cannot wait!

  • The one thing you would like to do if money was no option?
  • I would buy a mansion in London which had beautiful and tranquil surroundings, and I would convert it into a personal training and yoga centre. The kitchen would be huge and I would hire Jamie Oliver to come in and cook healthy food for everyone.

  • What is your favourite sport to watch?
  • I was born into a football obsessed family and love to watch Celtic (my Dad is Scottish) when I make it back to Scotland or on TV.

  • What is your worst vice?
  • I just love chocolate! I have to limit myself to chocolate once a week, although this doesn't always work out.

  • Who has been the biggest inspiration in your life?
  • When I was at middle school I had a fantastic teacher who taught with such passion and inspiration. He believed in each and every one of us and was able to bring out the best all of his pupils no matter their ability. He has inspired me to try to achieve the same with my clients and students.

  • What has been the biggest achievement in your life?
  • Leaving my family and home in Spain to come to England and dedicate my life to what I love to do. I am now living that dream, sometimes I still have to pinch myself to believe it.

  • What is your favourite thing to do on a Friday night out?
  • Getting together with friends. I do not mind where we go or what we do, because as long as the company is good I can have fun anywhere.
