At Benefit we believe in a holistic approach to personal training. Our programmes carefully balance mind and body training so that every client can reach and maintain optimum health and vitality. Our Wellness Programmes include nutritional analysis, stress management and remedial massage therapy.
Nutritional Analysis
Correct nutrition is a vital part of maintaining a healthy body. As with exercise it is important to individualise your diet to your physical needs. Your body processes food in a unique way. Therefore, it is important for your eating habits to reflect this.
At Benefit Personal Training we encourage all our clients to complete a series of nutritional questionnaires as well as a two week food diary. This information helps us to compile a diet that is correct for your body. A correct diet will help give you energy, overcome cravings, to lose weight and simply make you feel fantastic!
We also know that it is not easy to change your eating habits, so we will give you support every step of the way. We can provide recipes, help you shop, and analyse the contents of your refrigerator. What ever you need to help you to be healthy!
Rob is a really effective trainer. Cardio training is not my favourite pastime but Rob manages to make me enjoy it and somehow fit training into an over crammed life. He changes the format every time and introduces fun activities like boxing and work on the trampette. He strikes a good balance between pushing me to try harder and not push me so hard that I give up. - Joanna Page
Stress Management
Stress is a very real part of modern life. There are copious stressors that we can encounter every single day;
- psychological stressors – work deadlines or arguments with friends
- nutritional stressors – food intolerances or eating poor quality food
- chemical stressors – breathing polluted air
- electro-magnetic stressors – watching television or using a mobile phone
- thermal stressors – cold or hot weather
- physical stressors – poorly prescribed exercise
These stressors if not successfully handled can lead to emotional, hormonal, visceral and physical problems.
At Benefit Personal Training we use a carefully designed programme to help you highlight the major stressors in your life, discover how they are affecting you and most importantly teach you the most up-to-date and effective techniques to over come your stressors!
Paul is a god amongst men, - he is half man, half amazing. Paul has helped me get fitter and happier. I now have a whole new body shape thanks to him, my bad back is a thing of the past and I truly feel alive. There is nothing better than having an Irishman standing over you shouting "explode" to really make you work to your full potential.
